It had been many years since I last flew to San Bernardino, so going to Beyond Wonderland was a good reason to do the flight again.
The flight down was very easy although slow due to head wind:
there is a new self driving car test track next to PAO
PAO still very busy and constantly being repaved for the last 2 years

I didn't even know there was a small ski resort north of San Bernardino
San Bernardino is not a busy airport, it's used for plane storage
safely on the ground
After the event, the flight home was at the perfect time before storms were due to arrive at destination:
I took the flight path towards victorville to see all the parked planes:
Then, my favorite is Edwards Air Force Base, which you're allowed to overfly on sundays when it's not being used. Super cool:
awesome overfly, until next time...
We then got back to Palo Alto before the weather started to turn too much:
