in Solar
Maybe we can blame/thank global warming, the past year was our biggest solar production with 8840Kwh, way past our estimated 8114Kwh. This is also our first year where our PG&E use was actually negative. I think PG&E will have to send us $1.80 or something (never mind that trueing up says they owe us $210).
Here's the spreadsheet showing all the numbers I've gathered so far:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AloDTsnSvSs7dHdwS1NzcHJlRF80cVg1NUxzUlFEOFE
Year # PV Kwh PG&E Kwh
2010 - #1 8503 1602
2011 - #2 8813 1209
2012 - #3 8402 674
2013 - #4 8366 486
2014 - #5 8840 -30
If I count 20c/Kwh with the different tiers, the solar panels saved us $8500 so far, or one third of the price we had to pay ($26k). |
