π 2021-05-29 01:01 in Hiking
Despite a trip the next day Cynthia was up for for a hike (thanks Cynthia), so we drove to Portola Redwood SP on alpine road. We got there early before everyone else and had a nice clean drive except for poor Cynthia who got blanketted in heavy fog and rain at the top of skyline (I was luckier with pagemill)

Cynthia came back from that direction eventually :)

We then went for our 13-14 mile Peter Creek Loop. It was rated for 6.5h, but it was closer to 4.5h without stops for us (the were other loops, but they were closed to the recent fires):

We found a nice classic car that had clearly been there for a while:

On the way back down, we met most of the people who had just arrived for the 3 day weekend. We went to check out the visitor center that had now opened:

Thanks to Cynthia for joining me on the nice hike.

Thanks to Lindon for organizing another drive, it was definitely fun, and great to see Justice's new 765LT, what a beauty:

We then had a stop at Pescadero for coffee:

And a fun drive back up pescadero/84 with few cars. My car was a bit thirsty at the top:

Drive back down had an interesting (but slow) 570S with a giant ass aftermarket wing, that didn't make the driver faster :)

Fun drive and beautiful day out, thanks to all.

2021/05/14 Kailey Grace, Triode and Haliene at Midway SF
π 2021-05-14 01:01 in Clubbing, Tfsf
OMG, Haliene coming to San Francisco, we're not worthy! Haliene is the Trance Angel fallen from the sky. I think only Jes also has enough tracks to her belt to sing over an hour like Haliene did. It was such a treat.
Jes and Haliene are my favorite trance singers because of their raw singing talent, we're lucky to have them.

Kailey opened the show with a great set, to the delight of her new fans:

triode did a great job recording and broadcasting the whole event

Triode was next for another banging set:

you knew that given enough liqueur, Triode could sing, right? :)

And in damn cold weather, Haliene bravely came to the stage to sing for us:

2021/05/01 Foster Kittens

It had been a while since I got to foster kittens. Being sheltered at home during covid was a great time. I got 5 lovely kittens of mixed breed, and got them used to humans and well socialized:
