Cynthia came back from that direction eventually :)

nice and early, we had the place to ourselves

we got out pick of parking spots :)

We then went for our 13-14 mile Peter Creek Loop. It was rated for 6.5h, but it was closer to 4.5h without stops for us (the were other loops, but they were closed to the recent fires):

We found a nice classic car that had clearly been there for a while:

On the way back down, we met most of the people who had just arrived for the 3 day weekend. We went to check out the visitor center that had now opened:

We then had a stop at Pescadero for coffee:

And a fun drive back up pescadero/84 with few cars. My car was a bit thirsty at the top:

Drive back down had an interesting (but slow) 570S with a giant ass aftermarket wing, that didn't make the driver faster :)

getting used to the grounds

I soon learned to contain the mess in boxes :)

I was happy to get this big amazon box to contain the mess a little bit more. Kittens learned to jump in and out

I got multiple guests to play with them :)

After a while, they were ready for cat fairs, one got adopted there:

this was the lucky winner

I had multiple guests come see the other kittens, until they finally found new homes:

they sure had grown by then

this was the lucky family that adopted another one

arturo didn't take any, why? :)

the last 2 found a lucky home with a friend of a TFSF friend in SF (thanks Benjamin)

And just like that, my 5 little kittens, that had grown quite a bit, got adopted. Here's a video summary:
