For the second and last weekend with my mom, we went to visit the coast a little bit.
On Saturday, we first went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which I hadn't seen in about 8 years or so.

After that, we drove south and stopped in Carmel by the Sea and did the 17 mile drive: nice views, bird island, coastline, more golf courses than you'd know what to do with, the lone cypress, etc...

... and while we were driving south, we went down to Point Lobos that Jennifer and I had just visited a few months prior. It was nice to see the adventurous begging squirrel, and the super cute little bunny.

After this long scenic day, we had dinner in Carmel and headed home.

For Sunday, we took it easy and watched a few years of Best Of les Guignols, but for Mother's day, I flew my mom (along with my brother and Jennifer) to Harris Ranch where we had dinner (the flight happened a bit late due to the first plane not starting for unknown reasons)

A couple of days later, I drove my mom back to the airport and she flew home. My brother flew back the day afterwards when his work was done.
