2010/05/26 Edge Program At Google

Google has a leadership program that is available to most employees. It was recommended to me by some coworkers and it is indeed a very good class.
There is a fight club rule where I can't really talk about what we had to do since divulging that would negate some of the points of those exercises, but I can at least provide a few pictures:

offsite location in Soquel was quite nice

Long story short, it was time well spent and it was quite nice to work with coworkers from all over the company and learn about other sides I've never heard of.

2010/05/20 Schwartzy Visit

I wasn't able to park at my normal spot this morning, a bunch of big black SUVs and secret agents in black...

Sure enough Schartzy was there as part of a green talk:

He actually didn't say much and skillfully avoided answering any questions, I guess he was just there as a figurehead...

2010/05/05 Conan O'Brian Visit at Google

Conan came to google on his way to some local shows. He talked to us for a while and did quite a good job being entertaining and answering questions.

Here is the video:

After having watched his interview on 60 minutes, it sounds like he just kind of lost out. No one was really after him, but things just didn't work out for him on TV. Best of luck on his new career as a standup comedian for now.
