Work had a 5K fun run today. I was kind of looking forward to it, since that distance/amount of time is a sweet spot for me.
Unfortunately, I didn't do too well: I ended up 1st among people who ran with costumes, but 5th overall, and behind at least one person that routinely I beat at boot camp :-/.
I don't think running with the costume was a good enough excuse for my slower time (21:26), I just didn't have it today (sure, it's a 6mn40sec mile on terrain that went up and down a hill, but on such a short distance, I should/could have done better).
