I had not been to Utrecht so far, but with the twice postponed ASOT 1000 in Utrecht, finally got there, and had a few hours to check out the town over the 2 days there:
easy train ride from Amsterdam
Found ravers on the train :)
Cool architecture
Hotel Grand Karel was nice, although pricey :)
Downtownn had the cathedral and dom tower which sadly is being renovated, so it didn't look good:
There was just enough time to get a climbing tour that day, but only half way up:

The train station gets nice at night:
