2017/02/17 Visiting Revelstoke in British Columbia, Canada
π 2017-02-17 01:01 in Canada, Ntrips, Trips
Arturo and I flew to Calgary, picked up a wretched Jeep Wrangler, one of the worst cars ever made on this god forsaken earth (and it still costs over $30,000). I owe Arturo again for driving us to Revelstoke (almost 5 hours). Despite the weather not being great for sightseeing, it was still a nice drive:

After skiing, we spent a bit of time in downtown and went to the city museum before doing dinner:

The next day since the snow was not great, we ended by noon and went to the rail museum:

And that was it for Revelstoke, nice little place to stop if you're driving the trans canadian highway 1, or you're there for skiing.

Of course, we were there to snowboard, more pictures here

2017/02/19 Visiting Banff and Lake Louise, Canada
π 2017-02-19 01:01 in Canada, Ntrips, Trips
After Revelstoke, we went to Lake Louise and Banff:

The first day, we went to snowboard at Lake Louise and after that we went to see the castle by Lake Louise. It was fun to visit, especially walking on the frozen lake, which became a hockey field for the local canadians:

The next day, pafter snowboarding at sunshine village|/perso/snow/post_2017-02-20_Mountain-Collective-Tour_-Banff_s-Sunshine-Valley_-Canada.html], we went to see the Banff castle and downtown:

The castle had a few stores/art galleries worth visiting:

Then we visited a few of those in Banff:

And after all the fun, it was time to go back to Calgary and get a flight back:
