2014/05/05 Diving in Yonaguni and Okinawa
π 2014-05-05 01:01 in Diving
We started with 2 days in Yonaguni, which was a bit off season (May when peak season is actually until March), so we didn't get to see any hammerheads or whale sharks, but on the flipside, it sure wasn't busy. It actually really was just us in the boat.
It pretty much rained the entire time, but that's ok we were there for diving. We did 5 dives on the 2nd day for catch up for the 1st day, and 3 dives on the 3rd day (due to the flight back the next day).

We had a pretty big boat for just the two of us:

The highlight for Yonaguni was the underwater monument, which looks like an underwater atlantis:

And here are some other diving pictures we got in Yonaguni:

Then, we flew back to Okinawa and did 3 days of diving there:

We had plenty of sea snakes

There is of course more to see in Okinawa as explained on this page
