2017/10/28 A Few Hours in Brisbane before and after the Flying Safari
π 2017-10-28 01:01 in Australia, Ntrips, Trips

We arrived in Brisbane around 06:00 to meet Clare from Air Safaris Int and the start of our tour. Since I had a bit of time, I did a quick walk around the south bank of Brisbane before going on the Air Flying Safari.

We then left for the 22 day Air Flying Safari, read those pages for details.

When we came back, we had a few more hours in Brisbane, so we went to the Clock Tower/City Hall and walked around town a bit:

chinatown was kind of sad, not worth the walk

I guess all the bridges are cashing in on bridgeclimbs :)

There is more to see in Brisbane, but the opening hours kind of suck, so weren't able to see anything else there. We would have needed another day, but honestly I think the time was better spent in Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.

We finished the evening with a farewell dinner with our group, and Jennifer made a poor innocent crab, pay :)

If we go back to Brisbane, we'll have a few more museums to see, but I think our time was better spent at Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.
