After picking up my badge, I went to the Ki Network welcome reception, where most of the crowd was hanging.

They gave out a few gift certificates to Amazon, a Palm III, and a digital camera. That was cool.

I was surprisingly pleased to find out that Daryll Strauss, the guy you should thank for the accelerated 3D drivers and the Banshee/Voodoo 3 support for linux is now working for Precision Insight
