Day 2: Conferences: Linux Traffic Control Implementation



Werner Almesberger filled up the room with his talk and it isn't too surprising because Alexey's Kuznetsov Networking code introduced in the 2.1.x kernel series is largely undocumented and isn't too easy to understand either. While you may not be familiar with his name, you should because among other things, he wrote lilo :-)

Werner's talk was very informative for anyone interested in all those obscure networking features added by Alexey in the kernel and the proceedings which should end up on the linuxexpo web site contain a very detailled explaination on what the kernel can do.
